Angela Phillips serves as Manager of Volunteer Services for the Arnold Palmer Medical Center in Orlando.  She has been a member of  FADVS since 2000. 

 

Mrs. Phillips has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Florida Southern College.  She is a Certified Director of Volunteer Services and the 2008 recipient of the Sally Sita CEVA award. 

 

In her current position at the Arnold Palmer Medical Center, she is responsible for Volunteer Services at both the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and the Winnie Palmer Hospital for Mothers and Babies.  Besides serving on the FADVS Board of Directors, Mrs. Phillips also serves as the Florida Representative on the Board of the Southeastern Directors of Volunteer Services.

 

Angela lives at home with her husband, Jim, and dog, Oliver.  She has two married children and four grandchildren.

Linda Arnold joined FADVS in 1994 and became a certified DVS in 1998. She has served on the FADVS Board as recording secretary and treasurer prior to becoming President-Elect for the 2009-2010 term.

Linda has worked at Martin Memorial Health Systems in Stuart for almost 20 years. She began her Volunteer Services management career as the TeenAge Volunteer Coordinator, became Volunteer Services Manager and subsequently became Director of Volunteer Services for Martin Memorial Health Systems. Linda is responsible for 800 volunteers serving in 2 hospitals and 8 ancillary facilities.

Linda and her husband Denny enjoying boating, traveling and spending time with their family all of whom live in Stuart. They have 2 married children and 2 granddaughters and 3 granddogs.

Lolita Moseley has been a member of FADVS for 6 years. 14 years working in volunteer management.

12 years at Florida Hospital, 8 years as manager of volunteer services. Currently manager of volunteers at Dr P Phillips Hospital a part of the Orlando Health Hospital System. Coordinating Pet Therapy, Music Therapy and Healing arts and Patient Advocacy program best practice for Orlando Health.

 

Lolita is also a volunteer active in the community helping local civic groups and speaking in the community to promote Volunteerism among youth and working adults.

Chaplain Phyllis Fitzwater has been a chaplain for Orlando Regional Medical Center for over fourteen years. She has a Bachelor of Science in Religion and a Master of Arts in Christian Counseling. She is a licensed and ordained minister with the Christian & Missionary Alliance faith background. She started and developed the Spiritual Care Volunteer program at Orlando Health approximately ten years ago. This is a program where lay individuals can become involved in the healthcare profession with a focus on spiritual care.

 

She is a Certified Director of Volunteer Services and a member of the Florida Association of Directors of Volunteer Services. She is a member of the Southeastern District of Volunteer Services. She is a member of the FADVS Council Heart of Florida. She is also a member of the Association of Professional Chaplains. She is listed is the Biltmore’s Whose Who for executive and leadership among women. She is married to Michael, her husband for 37 years who is also an ordained minister. They have two adult daughters and four grandchildren all of who live in Orlando.

Joanne Webster, CDVS, started her hospital career as a volunteer at Manatee Memorial in Bradenton.  She was involved in the Auxiliary and served as President on two different occasions.  She edited the Auxiliary newsletter for six years.  She was fortunate to have been a member of the AFHAV State Board under Judy Lohmeyer. 

 

Joanne became Director of Volunteer Services at Manatee Memorial in 2005.  She has been a member of FADVS, the SunCoast Council and SDVSHO since that time.  Joanne received her CDVS in 2008.  She was president of the SunCoast Council in 2009.  She served on the FADVS Board as CEVA chair in 2009 and 2010 and as the SunCoast Rep in 2010.  She is one of two facilitators of the Service Excellence Program at Manatee Memorial and presents the Service Excellence segment at all New Employee Orientations.  She is a member of the Service Excellence Steering Committee and the Employee Activities Committee.  She is one of seven members of the standing United Way Committee for Manatee Memorial.

 

Joanne is an active member of the Bradenton Branch of AAUW.  She has chaired the Scholarship Foundation Dinner/Auction and co-chaired the Women of Achievement Luncheon.
